Areas like the Third Ward, Harris County, and other underprivileged areas have people in need of simple Over-the-Counter medicines. Many times, these populations face severe consequences from the common cold, fever or stomach aches - things that privileged families see as harmless because of their access of common over the counter medications such as Tylenol and Advil (Ibuprofen). Most privileged people have stores of such medicines that are left unused and ultimately expire.
